Chiptune and geeky Lego videoclip
Nice videoclip combining Lego and chiptunes by Swedish ubergeeks Rymdreglage into something reminiscent of the demoscene. Found at waxy.org

Chiptune with Residents-like clip
I like chiptunes . Probably due to spending most of my youth in front of an Amiga playing games and creating / listening to MOD music. I occasionally work a bit on some tunes, but not as much as I would like to. Anyway, today I stumbled upon this clip and I really like the aesthetics of the both the visual as well as the auditive design. To my European eyes and ears it ‘feels’ very Japan-like. I don’t know how to describe it, but the Japanese design and music culture somehow seems instantaneously recognizable. At the end of the clip it reminds me a bit of the Residents due to the use of the eyeballs. The song reminds me a lot of “Don’t you worry about a thing” by Stevie Wonder. Intriguing. Compare both and hear for yourself!

The first step — especially for young people with energy and drive and talent, but not money — the first step to controlling your world is to control your culture. To model and demonstrate the kind of world you demand to live in. To write the books. Make the music. Shoot the films. Paint the art.Chuck Palahniuk
